If you assume that brick in the wall is 4", then that centipede is about 10" to 12" long.  nailbitting  Willy Nilly  icon_eek

The spider doesn't appear to be a brown recluse, if that is your concern.  They have markings (fiddle) on their back but not their abdomen.
