Muse's trip report got me wondering if anyone else has any good flash flood pics.  I have yet to even see any rain in the park, but I found this video online of Tornillo Creek flooding:

This is the best that I can do(a repeat).  But this storm caught me by surprise in late March 2004.  I was hiking in the Tuff Canyon area when the west edge of this storm came over the top of Cerro Castellan and hard-rained, hailed, and flash flooded me in an open area. I was on high ground.  There's no pics of the flash flooding because my time was spent trying to protect myself from the hail(pack over head).  And, of course, my tent was flattened up in the Basin. I didn't have it setup for high wind conditions.

Duh, I must be getting old.  Better make that "in the desert".  I totally forgot about getting rained on while heading up the Pinnacles Trail on an overnight to the South Rim.  It cleared up after about 20 minutes and we had blue skies for the next few days.
