The plan will be to avoid ropework, but if I have to he’ll be strapped to my chest.

I love it when parents take their kids out on their adventures and indoctrinate them early.  My folks had us out car camping before we could walk and it has lasted to this day.  When I was just old enough to walk they had a harness and lease and would tie me to a tree so I wouldn't wander off a cliff or into some other dangerous location.   :icon_eek:
