Glacier National Park by MyLifeOutdoors
« on: August 24, 2011, 11:18:49 AM »
Some of you may remember me asking for you votes to help me win a contest last year. Well your votes helped and I won a trip to Glacier National Park. My wife and I spent 5 days in the Glacier Backcountry at the beginning of August. The trip was simply amazing and I am in the process of documenting everything we did and saw. Here are some photos from our first day. The trip was soooo amazing I feel I have to break it up to do it justice. Check out these photos from our first day in the backcountry and then head over to my blog if you want to read and see more.

Whoever that was jumping off the bridge into the ice-cold whitewater has got more backbone than I do.
No life jacket or nothing just jump 25' into the ice cold water.
As refreshing as that seems in a Texas Drought in August I still don't think I could do it.   TWWG

Definitely big thumbs up.  Glacier now on my bucket list, even looks prettier that what I saw in the Sawtooths in July.
