Spring Wildflowers in Austin's McKinney Falls State Park
« on: April 10, 2010, 10:14:50 PM »
As everyone knows, here in Austin we had close to a three year drought.  Well, it is finally over and the spring wildflowers are going nuts.  Pollen is flying everywhere, allergy levels are off the charts, but so are the Bluebonnets!!!  I cannot remember a time when the Bluebonnets have gone so nuts as they have this year.  Below are a few photos of them, plus a couple of other wildflowers.  I'm going to have to get out to Lady Bird's Wildflower Center next weekend!
