Havin fun west of Denver!  :icon_biggrin: BUT....a trip to Big Bend this summer may not be out of the question.. :eusa_pray:

Offering some relief from an otherwise boring office day...all of these were taken in Jefferson County Open Space parks. All free, all beautiful, year round.

Beautiful!  Love all the green!  It looks like Sasha is adjusting well to being a trail dog.

Must be nice to be out of the humidity! When is Musey coming to Texas again?

You bet, just a couple of days a go. Before we got the rains and the last cold front before the summer, i was thinking: Glad Musey is out of this darn humidity. Thanks for them pics.
Stay thirsty, my friends.

She is a great hiker! Off leash, she listens MOST of the time.. :eusa_naughty: Other than chasing an occasional squirrel or bunny, she's great.

Very green! We've been getting some nice rain, too. More this weekend!  :great:

Yesterday we did 6 miles in a place called Deer Creek Canyon, another Open Space park. Bout a 20 min drive from my home. We saw a friend!

We did a summit trail and again, really green!

Nice pics!  I love Colorado.  Have to get back up there soon.
Having decent gear is nice, but wildlife photography is knowing your subject and getting lucky, and I love getting lucky.

Sasha and I summited Mt. Rosa (11,500) with some friends from Colorado Springs on Saturday. It was a great hike, despite strong winds and some smoke from NM wildfires.. Sasha did great! Next week were going to be spending some time near Mt. Evans and Bierstadt...

The forest helped to shield the wind on most of the trail
