Musey. What kind of pack are you wearing? Looks nice.

That would be an REI Traverse 30 day pack. It's very comfy and has plenty of room, a built in rain cover, plus axe handles if I decide to get super adventurous...

'Twas a gift from my BFF.. :icon_biggrin:

I'd get spoiled having all those trails close by.  And decent weather that isn't heat-stroke city like here.  Count me envious. :)

Musey: Do you have any recommendations for day hikes within 30 miles of Denver?  My wife and I will be in Denver Sept 19-24 to run the Rock n Roll Marathon.  We're planning on getting there a few days early to get acclimated to the altitude.

A fine place to have a few delicious cold ones after the hike! I spend lots of time in Golden. A beautiful city with a great atmosphere, good eats and drink, and Clear Creek running throught it, always alive with fine peeps!  :great:

A large part of the state received some nasty storm action yesterday. These are some of the leftovers this morning. It was in the mid 80's yesterday, and right now it's 61 at 8:30 am. This is still on the ground, rooftops, etc....not snow, but hail.

Don't mess with Mother Nature!!!  :nailbitting:
