Went to the Wind Rivers in Wyoming in early August

what a beautiful place

http://imgur.com/a/oDMCb

Did 5 nights, 6 days at Island Lake below Titcomb Basin. 14 miles in the first day, then a day for fishing/hiking in Titcomb, a day over to Wall Lake, a day for Fremont Peak, then 2 days out stopping at Hobbs lake for more fishing.

Did a short few hour run through Grand Teton NP for my friend that came along and hasn't been there, so got to see some more beautiful mountains.

for stingray:

camp:

golden trout:

what a horrible place to fish

above wall lake

indian basin

from Fremont's ridge

Hobb's lake

Sweet, looks like a light snow year.  How were the skeeters?

Love that Snake River overlook of the Tetons, never get tired of that.  Thanks

the mosquitos really weren't that bad. things were starting to get a bit brown, so thankfully i think we missed the wettest part of summer.

Great pics! Must have been an awesome trip. Might have run into you had it not been for financial and physical restraints (ventral hernia repair = $). Me and a friend were supposed to be up there the first week of August to make an attempt on Gannett. Just makes me want to get up there even more. Thanks for sharing.  :13:
