Wichita Mountains
« on: February 28, 2012, 07:48:50 AM »
I spend quite a bit of time here hiking and doing volunteer work.  I love the rugged character the refuge has.  Much like what Darin says, it's a local fix to tide me over until I can get back to BiBe.

Took this photo a few months ago on West Cache Creek near 40' Hole locating and documenting invasive plant species.

Having decent gear is nice, but wildlife photography is knowing your subject and getting lucky, and I love getting lucky.
