Thanks, txrounder!  I think my favorite is the shot of the agave silhouetted against the Window at sunset.

I really like your photo's - they are definately well off the beaten path and things that most of us will never get to see.
Has there ever been any Arch work done at the Sinkhole?   Seems like you could dig up a big pile of bones at the bottom from creatures that long ago washed into or fell into the sinkhole.

I would love to go on a mine/sinkhole tour sometime but most often I am a solo backpacker but I always take a good book with me backpacking so will buy one of the recommended books for my next trip.

Can anyone explain this Lemming of the BDA song?  It sounds like old Monty Python?  I don't get it - what is the Lemming of the BDA?  Let me guess - a guy who lets his wife stop him from going to BBNP.  Must go now - I hear whip cracking... TWWG

Arthur Lemming is a secret investigator for the British Dental Association. A man of such great import that he has his own theme song. It's an absurd and insanely funny Monty Python sketch.

My young bride hates Big Bend. It's not her thing. She's more at home in a library or a mall. She is willing to tolerate my obsession though. In fact, a few years ago, when things weren't going so well for me healthwise, she arranged for her brother to take me down there. I don't want to sound real dramatic, but the possibility existed that this would be my last trip. So even though I crack on her from time to time, she's a good 'un. I couldn't have done any better.

also apparantly some of y'all were already accessing them while I was still uploading more and editing titles. Geez, gimme a minute! I'm trying to do this and "work" at the same time. .

Man, the promise of great pictures is more than I can stand. Both of those albums are super. Now a trip to Ojinaga is on my to-do list as well. Thanks!
