The main TPWD page for the Devils River Land Acquisition Proposal is
http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/newsmedia/releases/news_roundup/devils_river_land_acquisition/
It has links to pretty much everything they have available for public viewing.

I've added that page to my "watch that page" portfolio to keep abreast of any changes.

Unfortunately, it's only delayed for now and not tabled/canceled/nuked.

But, it certainly is better than have doing a Blitzkrieg and pushed it through.

Hooray! Well done everybody who participated! According to Sunday article in Houston Chronicle the Devil's River swap is stopped. TP&WL says they will seek to acquire Mr. Sanders' Ranch while keeping the Devil's River SNA, so as not stop river usage. I believe that's what we have been saying all along! Now that's a stretch; where the heck are they going to get $20 million +!
Shane, what gives?

:icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol:...why don't you invite him over here and let him speak his mind?. One thing is for sure, he won't be able to edit his comments...or anybody else's for that matter like he did on YouTube. :eusa_eh:
Stay thirsty, my friends.

Yes, this is awesome!
i'd spoken to several persons over the phone, written a few letters but not gone to any meetings as many of you have.  I'd been getting emails from the TWPD staff as to the proceedings.  first, it seemed tabled then all of a sudden, a meeting announced and then the big news!
Thank you to those who made this happen.  Because of yall, i'll be able to go there maybe next spring or fall.
