how to copy SD card to another SD card without a computer?
« on: September 29, 2009, 10:20:45 AM »
I am so lacking in knowledge that I don't even know how to properly title this thread... :icon_lol:

Here's what I want (need) to do:

Premise:  you're on a lengthy hiking vacation. no consistent or easy access to internet cafes. no computer to use. but you do have occasional access to AC/electricity while in a motel or B&B...

Is there some way to take the (full) SD card from your camera & copy the contents to another SD card so you can have a reliable backup? Without a computer?

Then you could mail one set of copies home, and keep the other set stashed with your 'main luggage' for the return flight?

 :eusa_think:

There's gotta be some way to do this, right?  :eusa_pray:

You could buy one of these:

Never used one myself, but it seems to do what you want.
