http://www.trek-tech.com/

I have one of these for sale that I've only used twice.  (The original TrekPod) I got it free from the owner when he asked me to review it for him.  I guess he didn't like my review because I haven't heard from him since and that was about 2 years ago.  I just found it in my garage. It's been in its box it came in.  I used it once to the south rim and once to Enchanted Rock 2 years ago.  I think it would be great for someone with a light camera.  Didn't do well for what I need it for as it's way too wobbly for my needs.

Anyway, if you want it, we'll do a little mini auction for it to expire in exactly 24 hours.  (11:30am, Sunday the 19th). Goes to the highest bidder.  All parts are still with it. Shipping, 8 dollars.

Can I get a bid of 1 dollar?

Certainly not what I'd call inexpensive brand new.

In the spirit of things, I'll up Homero and will bid $25 - ShaneA

Don't let me steal this thing for $25 bucks.  Help out the cause, any cause.  Help out the Casa Grande cause of cleaning out his garage.

I'm certainly willing to extend the time line if anyone else wants to bid on it.  The bid is currently @ $25 plus 8 for shipping.  My heart is not set on this and I'm certainly not trying to welsh out on this, it just seems a shame to let it go for such a low price.   :D

Check is in the mail.
« Reply #6 on: August 19, 2007, 01:08:10 PM »
The check is in the mail for $33.  But, don't ship it just yet.  Actually, I just cut an electronic check to you via my CU.

I'll be like the guy on the Edward Jones commercial that buys a painting and turns around and wants to sell it.

Ok, I now own a TrekPod and am willing to resell it to the highest bidder, with 100% of the proceeds being mailed to Casa Grande directly by the winning bidder.

Bidding starts @ $25.00.  I've already paid the $8 in shipping, so Casa Grande can drop ship it directly to you instead of me.

Bidding ends @ 10pm CST Monday evening 8/20/2007.

Do I hear $26 :?:

Through the miracle of Al Gores Internet the check is in process - BTW - Casa Grande is just the Alias used in my online banking, the check will be issued in your name for ease of cashing.  Nothing like free electronic bill pay.  BTW**2 - 8/27/2007 is the scheduled delivery day, using 7 lead days for USPS.

Ok, sounds good to me, plus I don't think it's being cheapskate... all bids are welcome.

Found some change
« Reply #14 on: August 20, 2007, 01:06:11 PM »
Ok, I've searched through my sofa cushions and under my car seat for change so I'll go to $44.44. (Is this an idea for a "for sale" area on the BB or what? CG could take a 10% cut of the action. BiBebay  )

PS. Sleepy, if you want it bad, up me by a penny and I'm gone from the bidding.
