Mitre Peak is a fun climb as well.  It's cool being able to see Alpine, Marfa, and Fort Davis from one point, and you realize how close they are to each other.

I actually got stuck up there with my dad and brother when I was about 10 years old (on the way down of course, so at least we summitted).  Luckily there were some climbers on the mountain and I was able to rappel off the cliff we were stuck on.  As is typical in a small town, we made the front page of the newspaper the next week.
