My son and daughter in law were tour guides at Inner Space Caverns in Georgetown for several years. I think I remember my son saying the Caverns of Sonora was the best cave in the state.

My Dad took me and a few cub scout friends to Inner Space Caverns for my 7th birthday (I think). I was not impressed, having already been to Carlsbad, Sonora, and Longhorn Caverns.

Been several times. Off the beaten path, small groups, just my style.

Thanks, BK. Every time I see something like this, I think to myself: it's such a privilege to share the earth with this and to experience it. I am grateful for being here.

A few more photos here

Is the "Butterfly" still on display, after the incredibly unspeakable person vandalized  it?

We went through the caverns some years ago but we made a special trip of it.  It's hard to take that turn when hell bent on getting Big Bend.

The butterfly is still on display. Unfortunately it gets lost with the missing part, losing its distinctive shape.
