Although this type of material is "NOT" to be entering US, this could be the beginning of a bad situation. If we are going to let these trucks through, it seem a little crossing a Boquillas would be no problem. I miss the crossing in a big way.

Dang !!!..another tragaedy, but thank GOD it was no where near here. The news source has it all wrong:

An incredible explosion ocurred on the way between Monclova and Torreon,Coahuila. We are talking here a good 350 kilometers from here, in the small town of Cuatrocienegas where all the scientific studies, from NASA,many Gvt. Agencies are being conducted. To be more clearer: Where that Fossil water is?. So we did not even got to see the flash of the explosion...thank the good lord.

It was between 6 and 8 PM, to be more precise, and many families were coming back home from a beautiful day at the crytal clear water lagoons. Man , what a tragedy.

22 dead and 70 wounded, was the result of this accident. More news at 10 pm.Maybe i can post something for you , tomorrow?.

All is well here....just dead tired, from work and barely finding time to learn this new board. But i am very stubborn and i will catch up in no time, just let me pick up my pace.

Peace to you all.
Stay thirsty, my friends.

Homero, it is good to hear from you and your report.  The inaccurate news from Mexico to the USA is not good, but your Ciudad not being affected is.  I also noticed that CNN reported the pipeline explosions as occurring on September 11.

Top of the morning's news...... 28 dead and more than 100 injured, on what seems to be one of the worst tragedys in Coahuila.

As onlookers were watching how the wreck's incidents were unfolding, little attention did they pay when the rescue teams were yelling every one to go back. This has got to be the worst  picture i have posted on this board:

According to the source, one of our local newspaper, this picture was taken just moments before the explosion, no one was alive after it, not even the reporter who was snapping pics and getting the facts for the story....sorry if it is uncomfortable for you.

According to official channels, the truck was hauling 25 tons of Ammonium Nitrate...it must have been just a flash, before everything went black for those poor souls.

Here is the full story, it is in Spanish though..if some one can help translate, i would really appreciate it. If not, i will see what i can do tonight.

Zуcalo | Monclova

Homero, it is good to hear from you and your report.  The inaccurate news from Mexico to the USA is not good, but your Ciudad not being affected is.  I also noticed that CNN reported the pipeline explosions as occurring on September 11.

Al

Yes Al...along with this incident, there were four hits to one of many PeMex's gas pipelines, in central Mexico. The paramilitary group who took credit for this incident was the EPR.
