It's a real tragedy for our country.  I pray for his family and our country.

Let the games begin.  What will the Congress do......The Democrats have already set the presidence.

For 2 years the Fake News Media, Obama's FBI, CIA & DOJ, and Swamp dwelling Politicians COLLUDED, Illegally Spied, and LIED to America about POTUS in order to overturn an election

All the while demanding censorship and removal of opposition Conservative "hate speech" voices.  Globalists Hate Freedom

Last time I was driving out there, I randomly stated thinking about funeral arrangements and pronouncements of death for people in some of the more remote areas. Looks like it is every bit as difficult as I imagined it might be.

Does anyone know if the Justice was a regular out here? The only out of court stories I've ever heard about him relate to him always attending the opera with Ginsburg, so hearing he was in remote west Texas was a little surprising.

Overall very sad. In a situation like that with the remoteness, it's probably very difficult for the family to get the answers it needs.

This is an opinion - not a correction or rebuke.

I go to the Bend to get away from IT all ("IT" primarily equals politics).  Similarly, I go to BBC to get away from IT.

My vote (only one man's opinion) would be to keep BBC politics-free.
Leave "quit" at the car.  Embrace the trail as your friend.  Expect to enjoy yourself, and to be amazed.

The central theme of the article is the remoteness of the area and how it effects some aspects of everyday life for its inhabitants. I found it a short but interesting read and that's the only reason why I posted the link.

Honestly so far I think this thread has not gone much further than simple statements of respect for the deceased.  I'm more interested in the difficulties I've read about here in dealing with the dead in the Big Bend region.

It was his first and only visit to Poindexter's property.  He was supposed to meet his son there as part of a group of around 25.  His son was unable to make it at the last minute.
