Way out West
Cibolo Creek Ranch proprietor John Poindexter marked the end of quail season over the weekend with festivities for a diverse group of pals that included hunters, business big shots, fashion mavens and sybarites with a yearning for the Old West.

Close to three dozen city slickers flew to the West Texas ranch via private jet or drove from Midland (the closest commercial air connection). Becca Cason Thrash and John Thrash led the pack that included Ted Pinson, Liz and Dr. Bill Decker, Vicki and John Cronin, Linda Gale and Mark White and Allyn and Mark Riley.
