Boquillas Adventures is a project of Ernesto Hernandez, Enrique Suzan, and Mike Davidson. Between them , they have over 80 years experience in sharing the rivers, canyons and mountains of Big Bend and Beyond. In December of 2019, Mike and Ernesto were invited to spend a couple of days in the majestic Maderas del Carmen at the invite of the landowners CEMEX. We stayed in comfortable accommodations, were served excellent meals and in our short visit we saw Black Bear, Mule Deer, White Tailed Deer, Desert Big Horn Sheep and a variety of interesting birds. We are hoping to start providing trips from 3 to 5 days to this fascinating and seldom visited area in fall of 2019. Stay tuned

This is encouraging, especially since it shows CEMEX willing to open up their land (albeit under careful, vetted supervision). Looking forward to more of this.
