Nice!  Were those bison (3:33/3:56)?

Congrats on joining the 2K club.  If you want to relive the experience, you can always go delete an old post or two. :icon_biggrin:

Yes, to my surprise they were Bison (Buffalo), but there are also Turkeys,Bighorn Sheep,Carmini Whitetail & Mule Deer, Elk (my favorite El Carmen species),Javelinas,Black Bear,Pronghorn,Coatimundi, Badger,Wildcat and Mountain Lion, God only knows how many species of birds....man, what a haven for our beloved animals.

Who would not want to be an animal in El Carmen: Eating, sleeping,roaming.......making whoopi :icon_redface:. Repopulating alll that was once lost . I read that in the long term, once the Umbrella species are well stocked they were going to reintroduce the Mexican Wolf and the Grizzly Bear......sounds scary right now :nailbitting:, but maybe i am seeing it with human , instead of nature's eyes :eusa_doh:. Something to think over. :eusa_think:

Did you guys see the streams? what about those prairies?...unbelievable !!!. Dang, i look forward to an opportunity to go there, someday.
Stay thirsty, my friends.

i've heard great things about the reintroduced wolves of yellowstone, and all their positive benefits. i don't know what their human toll has been, but it must not be too bad
