You might want to consider camp sites along Old Ore Road.

Old Ore Rd definitely caught my interest but I am just a little concerned that I could damage something on my truck, or get some "battle scars" on it. Is it a road I could do, in your opinion, and not damage a stock truck? Thanks

I recently did Old Ore Road in my (non-4X4) F-150.

Any issues?

Odds are more favorable than not that you will pinstripe on Old Ore. The portion of Old Ore that runs south-north to Ernst Tinaja is a little more heavily traveled then the rest of the road. You could drive that portion and feel it out.

Glenn Springs and River Road are wider and traveled more. Those seem to fit what you are looking for more.

Agreed. Definitely avoid Juniper Canyon and Pine Canyon roads if concerned about plants touching the truck...  8)

Recommend trying Dagger Flat Auto Trail and River Road East for starters! :)

I camped at Rice Tank.  Spot was very secluded but only a few miles of "off road" road to get to it.  Nothing serious and no pin striping.

When I bought my 2015 F-150, I was dogged on here by those who mocked my fear on BIBE pin stripping.  I got over it.  Consider it your BIBE Badge of Courage.

Excellent advice.
