Ballroom Marfa

I picked up Bruce Davenport Jr at the Midland/Odessa airport yesterday, thus had 3 hours back to Marfa to talk to him.
His story is amazing. http://blog.nola.com/dougmaccash/2008/08/bruce_davenport_jr.html
He is down to earth, funny, humble, generous and extraordinarily talented.

I recommend making a jaunt up to Marfa and taking a look at all the artists' work during the
World According to New Orleans exhibition

After viewing all the work yesterday evening, my favorite, hands down, is the huge mural done using scraps of material. I also loved the photos of the people dancing.
