Bad Rabbit Cafe at Terlingua Ranch Lodge to re-open
« on: January 12, 2011, 10:59:42 AM »
Closed for a couple of years now, the Bad Rabbit Cafe will be open for business the end of this Month (January). Former Bad Rabbit cook and long time Big Bend resident Judy Eron will be at the helm. The cabins, campground, stable, pool, showers and laundry are all open and available.

Terlingua Ranch Lodge is remote, quiet and comfortable with outstanding dark skies and is the closest and best approach to the Christmas Mountains summit: a wonderful old mining road to outstanding views of just about the whole of BBNP and the surrounding area.

Here's wishing Judy and the ranch great success.
Barn's burnt.
I can see the moon.

Christmas Mountains hiking, biking, horseback riding!!!

The GLO signed a 5 year lease with Terlingua Ranch for recreational use of the Christmas Mountains.   Please stop by the Main Office in the lodge area to sign a liability waiver and pick up your permit BEFORE entering the area.

Cool.  That means the Christmas Mountains aren't moving anytime soon...  :rolling:

I wonder if hunting is allowed out there?   :eusa_naughty:
