Though our days in the desert may not be forty and our bushes may not (or possibly may) be burning, we are risen in the desert (and occasionally in the mountains). May the peace that passes all understanding be your's and everyone's.

Resurrection is as much a allegory as a reality.  We are reborn beneath backpacks.
Leave "quit" at the car.  Embrace the trail as your friend.  Expect to enjoy yourself, and to be amazed.
