I'm with you Marty.

I have been looking in Marfa, Alpine, Terlingua, Study Butte, Presido, Lajitas...

Also both the BBNP and BBSP, but who knows

Wish I was good to go right now, as that cooking gig in Terlingua is actually something I would be cool with.  I actually have a associates degree in culinary arts even if it has been almost 30 years since I worked full-time in a kitchen.

With a cost of land down there I may just look at buying a small piece and living there. I've lived simple in the past, and I am good with doing it again.

Thanks

I also hope you report back on this venture of yours.
And not to harp on the idea like I had in my first response in this thread, but is there something you could blog about and possibly get some revenue through that?

Thank You tx1c,

I actually have been in contact with with the owner of Timeless and the price is good, however way too rich for my blood right now with the down stroke and interest rate they are asking for.   Hell I'd be back paying close to what I did on my farm which I paid $50k more for 23 years ago.

As for blogging, it is a possibility, just don't know how much revenue I could generate and my current situation isn't anything most people would like to be reading about.  Now once I'm on some land down there, it is a different story. Plan on documenting  the hell out of the process.
