We’re taking some Boy Scouts the end of July hiking to Boot Canyon, has anyone seen any water up there?

No - but I covet a report from you upon your return.
Leave "quit" at the car.  Embrace the trail as your friend.  Expect to enjoy yourself, and to be amazed.

We have, a couple of years ago.  The pipe was running then.
