Filled my 1-liter bottle from the pipe in 2 min 17 sec. A small pool remains below the falls, but the creek was not flowing there. Did not look above the spring, so defer to the report from Pacing the Cage on that part.

That is about what the flow was the weekend of the 27th.  Been going pretty regularly every year at this time for the past 4 years now, and it seems noticeably drier than before.  Only saw one snake in the pools up boot canyon this year when we usually see a snake in almost every pool previous years.  Obviously, a completely scientific observation.   :icon_wink:

May I suggest an improvement for your water containers.  Gotta give Mule Ears his due.  Saw a trip report with him using these, and now I'm all in with 7 of them for my crew.    Less than 2 ounces each empty.  (Nalgene bottles with lids are around 6-7 oz each.)  They fold up.  Pack easy when full in our backpacks.  Have used them for over 2 years now with at least 25 days on backpacking trips, and no leaks.  They stand up on their own when full.  When I get home, they have a nice clip to use when I  hang them in the sun to dry out .  The also have a spout that works pretty good with my new filter when I can back flush it.  Give one a try next time.

Your bird is one of those redheaded woodpeckers.  Big white spot on each black wing  seen when they fly.  One of the bonuses you only get to see in the summer up there.  They seem to travel in 3's.  Again, completely scientific observation.

First Russian Collusion, then Obstruction, then illegal payment to Stormy Daniels, then tax returns subpoenaed. Now no formal vote on impeachment for a 30 min. phone call to Ukraine

No crime. No evidence, just more secret investigations

I agree, those collapsible bottles are great when packing empty or full, but the Philmont Nalgene means something to me. Just Finished my trek in June.
