water water everywhere!
« on: November 27, 2018, 07:03:59 AM »
Just got back from 10 days of backpacking/car camping in the Bend. As many have reported there is an abundance of water in the park. We did 3 nights on the MDA using Tinaja Blanca as our main water source but found water in many spots out there. Boot spring/pipe and creek were flowing great. Also had water at Butrell Spring in the Rosillos. Talked to multiple hikers about the water out in the Queamadas.

If you are thinking of doing some desert exploring....NOW IS THE TIME.....get out there!!!
trip report soon.....

Oh man! I am finding very, very tempting to visit the week before Christmas. All this water in Big Bend is making me thirsty  :icon_biggrin:
