There was plenty of water in marshy ponds.  It was very brown but tasted OK after treatment.
Burro Spring had water but it had been raining and I wouldn't rely on it.

Thanks for that report trekker314, it continues to be a place that has eluded me but it is on the radar for future trip.
temperatures exceed 100 degrees F
minimum 1 gallon water per person/day
no shade, no water

Did you try moving upslope about 100 yds towards the old corral? That is where the spring that feeds this pool originates. The water is better quality there if you dig a little catch basin...

Trekker....Just wanted to thank you for your posting. I just now realized that I had forgotten that your photo was one of the main motivating factors in my recent December trip out to Tule Springs. Which, BTW, was fantastic. Thanks again!
