Water in Juniper/Dodson Bear Box
« on: November 19, 2018, 04:05:13 PM »
Over the next few days I'd be interested in knowing if anyone eyeballs the Juniper/Dodson bear box and could report as to whether there is water in there, and approximately how much.

Many thanks!

I am planning to start a hike from there on Wednesday afternoon.  Want me to leave some water for you?

At the end of October there were at least half a dozen gallon jugs marked ďfor emergency onlyĒ that had obviously been there for quite some time.  Some of the jugs were partially full.  Randellís offer is the way to go!

Absolutely.  I've always found it there but an extra few gallons would be very much appreciated!

I will leave two gallons in there labelled "free to anyone".  My plan is go get there around 2-3pm on Wednesday if all goes according to plan with getting permits and caching water at Homer Wilson Ranch.

Yet another example of why BBC rocks!  Thanks again to David and Richard for keeping this place going.   :notworthy:

Good deal, that'll work great!  We will be there Friday.  And, may be going by Your Overlook Saturday (OML Friday, Marufo Saturday).  45 miles in 36 hours.

Thanks a bunch for the peace of mind!

Glad it was useful.  We picked up the remaining half gallon jug yesterday as we left.
