Water Report 2/21-2/23
« on: February 24, 2019, 09:56:30 PM »
I'll be doing a trail report soon, but wanted to give a quick water report.

2/21 -
Boot Canyon
was full of water.
Upper Juniper Spring - did not check it.
2/22-
Dodson Springs
had water, not enough running through pipes...the spring had water in it, but was quickly overtaken by algae.
Fresno Creek - It was flowing.  I was able to fill my 3 liter Osprey Bladder in 10 secs.

There was trace amounts near the Dodson/Smokey Creek Trailhead, not enough to use.

**Spoiler Alert** my group did not finish...but in 2020, we'll be back!

Thank you kindly
Leave "quit" at the car.  Embrace the trail as your friend.  Expect to enjoy yourself, and to be amazed.

I did not complete (a.k.a., "failed") my first OML, and the experience was exactly like the best knife sharpener that money can buy.  It honed  me.
