Anyone ever stop and visit with the Buffalo while headed to BB ?
On Hwy 90 between Sanderson and Marathon, right before Lemons Gap headed west. Reall cool animals. Last year there was a small herd with calves and they were curious. This year (NoV) there were a few hundred of them in the pasture.

Saw them on this last trip, but didn't have time to stop and chat with them and see how everything is going, cause we were racing the sun to get to Preisdio and to camp @ BBRSP before the sun was totally set.

I saw a large group trailing right next to the fence line.  
Wasn't there a place in Marathon that advertised buffalo burgers?
