HAPPY THANKSGIVING
« on: November 21, 2007, 04:26:47 PM »
Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, not sure if I will be online tomorrow.  May you all be happy and thankful wherever you are, in the company of family and friends.  This BigBendchat community is a family indeed.  Thank you for making this possible David and Richard.  Thank you all for sharing your stories, for being there whenever anyone needs advice. Thank God for Big Bend.

Happy T-day all!

Headed up to Copper Mtn. to check out the meager snow.

Not BIBE, but oh well.

I hope all of you have a blessed Thanksgiving.
Funny... I have a story about that...

We had a great time out in Abilene visiting family!  Best of all was the snow.  We probably got 5-6 inches of light fluffy snow on Thursday.

This was Jennifer's first experience with snow and she loved catching snowflakes on her tongue.

She quickly caught on to the concept of snowball fights.

Great pictures RichardM! Snow with kids is a ton of fun. All we ended up with was an inch or so up here in the panhandle.

I wish I could've gotten better pictures, but Jennifer was pretty much non-stop motion and my camera's slower than I am.

My aunt & uncle live in Seymour.  My mother grew up in and around Goree and Munday.  However, I don't believe I've ever been to Truscott.

We had a medium sized family get-together for turkey, etc. The next day I went for a hike while the "normal" people went shopping. Watched a lot of football. Got some car repairs done while the weather was too cruddy to play. Watched a lot more football...

It's been a great weekend!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at our house.....I smoked a Turkey on the grill for the first time (apparently  a success) and it was Grayson and his cousin Ava's first Thanksgiving:   :eusa_dance:
