Where would one post an inquiry on hiking partners?  Summit.com had a message board that  links up folks that like to climb mountains.  I was wondering if you could have a forum just for people to find hiking partners .  Thanks for your consideration.  Tom
If you climb mountains, no explanation is necessary, if you don't , no explanation is possible.

I'd say just post when you'll be in the park in the Trip Reports or BBNPQ&A forum and anyone who'll be out there then who's interested will respond.  Unfortunately, BBNP is pretty far away for most of us so it's hard to coordinate meetings.

I like the idea of a separate forum. I think "partner" requests might get lost in the clutter otherwise.

To answer the immediate question, "Bulletin Board" seems to be the perfect place. IMHO. :D

I'm with Lemming on this. I like the idea of a separate forum.

Maybe even a separate, separate forum for Hot Chicks looking for a hiking partners.   :D

The idea of a hiking partners section seems a good idea...
