Mother nature just teasing us...  Chance of rain is GONE.  Chance of a "dry" thunderstorm.

It rained on us as we rode south on 118 about 30 miles south of Alpine.

But, what followed us home only had a few drops.

Gorgeous Virga last night in the sunset.

Our day will come.  Just not soon

Looking forward to it!

As I took pictures of the signs of spring in the Big Bend I was amazed at how many plants found ways to green and even flower with NO precipitation.  It didn't rain yesterday, but the air had some moisture and somehow those hardy souls will find a way.  And with water, even the newly burned parts are going to burst into life.  They are doing it already.

You'll see when you get here!

The rumors of our demise are greatly exaggerated.
