Muse needs to head back out to the West Texas Trans Pecos Big Bend region and put on rain dances.  Maybe the local communities will pay her to bring rain to the region.  Hey, it worked @ BIBE during her last visit - coincidence?  Heck no, she's the MUSE of the Chisos.  Kinda like that old Steve Martin movie - whatever it was called where he was a fire and brimstone preacher man.

Grass fire near Paisano Pass

ALPINE - Alpine Volunteer Fire Department arrived timely to extinguish a grass fire along the south side of Highway 90, just east of Paisano Pass in Brewster County. The fire was about to get out of control with high winds and dry conditions. It started about 3:15 p.m. Thursday, April 27, when ranch hands were working along the fence line of the Gage/Holland Ranch. photo by Linda Bailey Potter

Texas Forest Service and Marfa Volunteer Fire Department firefighters battled and knocked down a grass fire in the Nopal Road area Tuesday.
