Sometimes I feel guilty , like I left an old friend for a new one and I see the old friend off in the distance.
If you climb mountains, no explanation is necessary, if you don't , no explanation is possible.

Emmissary

We have an official emmissary RichardM that is supposed to exchange plesantries with "the other side" and keep us informed of anything important that goes on.  Heck, I don't feel guilty at all.  I've got a clear conscious.  The other chat page was down for so long that it was defunt.  This site is 104% better (can you figure out why I used 104%?).

What Other Site?

the problem with the old chat page is not just that it used old, unreliable technology, but the passion just isn't there.  john's heart is with yellowstone, not big bend. this page was put together by a passionate big bender for passionate big benders.....that's the key difference.

Yup.  That's right.  Yellowstone, and especially the Yellowstone Loons was # one with John.

In A Day

I did YellowStone in a day many years ago.  Had one day off of work when I was working in Wyoming and we took off to see it all in a day.  Oh, I think Yellowstone was/is/would be great and I'd truly like to explore it some more, but, talk about the gas bill getting up there, plus it would be a hard two day drive each way

Being that I have not experienced the "old" page....I can use the oldie but goodie..."You don't miss what you've never had"........I think Pluto, or maybe Confusions said that? :?
There's got to be something better than
In the middle....
