I don't recommend doing this, but when I lived in the park in the 70's I used to drive the park roads at night with no headlights when there was a full moon. I know, it was dangerous, but I was young and stupid, and it was quite amazing. A park ranger that I knew told me if I was going to do that, at least use my parking lights. I'm sure I'd get a much different reaction from the rangers these days.
