The park keeps gettin' these little bits of rain through June and July, then the usual rain in August and Sept,  it'll be really nice later this year.

Looks like it's right on line with an average year for precipitation if it keeps it up it would be great. Castolon looks down right tropical.
temperatures exceed 100 degrees F
minimum 1 gallon water per person/day
no shade, no water

We got rained on last weekend when we were there...it was fantastic.

There was rain in the area every day last week.  Solitario portion of Terlingua Ranch got rain early Monday morning, Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday afternoon, and a huge downpour Thursday afternoon. 
WATER, It does a body good.
