Just wondering if anyone has personal experience of summer temps in the Solitario portion of Terlingua Ranch, right near the border with BBRSP.

Specifically, if the BB Daily Report calls for [let's say], upper 90s at the river & low 80s in the Basin...where would the area above fit in?

Can I [please God] knock 5 degrees off the river temp & be in the low 90s?

Location would be right about here...

Hot, damn hot, Africa hot, holy crud it's hot. This is why I don't look at temps. 2 cubes ice, single malt or cold cervesa on porch of general store shade. You would most likely be a few degrees cooler than river and few higher than basin.

Didn't Homero tell you? Solitario in Spanish means "20 degrees hotter than anywhere else". :rolling:

It is going to be hot, that is the only answer.  In the full blazing summer sun, there's not a whole lot of difference between 99 and 94.
WATER, It does a body good.

You could knock about 20-30 degrees off by going in November-January.

Otherwise, I agree with the others. It will be HOT.

Just in case the messages were not clear, it will be hotter than the hinges of hell.

I normally go to the park in June...so I know what to expect.  The last time I was at BBRSP was the third weekend in June.
It was hot as crud.

Or how about, "It's 106, but with the wind chill it's only 105."
