Way Out West Texas Book Festival
« on: July 01, 2009, 02:22:11 PM »
July 31-Aug 1, if you are going to be in the vicinity, come to Alpine's Way Out West Texas Book Festival http://www.wowtxbookfestival.com/

This is the second year we've put this on (the Rotary Club, not the bookstore), and last year it was a gas. Get to listen to the authors in free sessions, and get up close and have a chat in between or at the evening events. Many great authors, including Sarah Bird, Joe Nick Patoski and photographer Laurence Parent... There is also a silent auction featuring some awesome donated items.

All proceeds go to help us build our new library, and we'd sure love your company.
