REFLEX - It's like a "knee jerk" with me.  Anytime I discover that the GLO or TPWD or any state/federal agency is doing something out that way, my knee has a reflex and my gut tells me something is afoot.

I've been referred to the GLO Attorney on Open Records Requests matter in question regarding "what they are up to" in Presidio County.  No response as yet to emails, etc.   This is quite unusual since other requests regarding sales, etc. have been promptly and directly answered.

So, as of noon today I opend up my can of worms and contacted my various purveyors at the Austin American Statesman, Environment Texas, and the Sierra Club.  Seeing as the meeting is on Feb 2nd - three short days from now with two of those being a Sat/Sun - not much time to mobilize the big guns.

I'm not saying that anything is afoot, but, based on precedence:
1.  TPWD - Land Sale Presidio County when a large tract of land was to be sold to John Poindexter.  Funny, haven't heard anything of or about or from him in a long time.   eusa_think

2.  CEMEX and the State of Texas with regards to land around the Black Gap WMA

3.  GLO and Christmas Mountains attempt to sell off.
