Fantastic photos!!  I remember a story told me to a few years ago by a current park employee who had been here, left, and came back. It was on his first tour when he participated in a SAR at Cattail. The climber underestimated the length of his stuck under the falls. He was dead when they found him...not sure if he drowned or from exposure.  There have been quite a few deaths during my 5 1/2 years here.  All so sad...folks coming out for vacation and some adventure and ending up dead.  You folks are experienced and savvy, but one can get into a situation so has happended to me...and all of a sudden you are asking yourself..what have I done??  Enjoy the park and BE SAFE!!  I want to keep hearing your good stories :D
The opinion expressed above is my own and not that of the National Park Service or the Federal Government.
