OFM Trip Reports
« on: September 15, 2009, 11:39:47 PM »
I am going to take an idea from Ara and Spirit and just post a message for readers to go to my blog to see the latest trip report.  The recent trip to Bibe posting has started so Homero has pictures to see now.  Start with the 9-11-09 posting and read forward.  The blog is listed in the sig line.  Two days were added tonight.  Of course it is ok if you want to read all the other nonsense an old fat man can do. I hope you find it enjoyable.  I had to go back to civilization for repairs but intend to head back west on Sep 30 for more mountains and desert .

Barney;

  Why don't you take some of your pictures and tease us with there's more where they came from?

 Kind of like,Beemerchef does to go and visit his webpage.

Note: Looks as though you are uploading in PICASA or some google site,since it is not showing in this space. :icon_frown:

Yes Homero.  The blogger setup loads to Picasa.  From my blog right click to save a picture.  Thanks for the teaser suggestion.

The last trip report from the four day stop at Bibe has been published in my blog.  This set of reports is dated 9-11 through 9-17-09.  It was fun and when all the repairs to the truck and Castle are completed I will be heading back westerly.

A report of the San Pedro Campground a little north of Del Rio, Texas is in the blog entry of 10-10-09.  It could make a good overnight location on the way to/from Bibe on highway 90.  It is about five minutes off the highway on a good gravel road. Friday evening I caught the Pecos bridge work exactly wrong and the delay was only five minutes.
