My wife and I had a great adventure in the park in March. Stayed one night in the VIP room at the lodge. Several great hikes. Full details on my blog.

Incredible pictures and very well done report, but you document violation of park rules. Let's see if the park service acts again on a post on this website?

Nice photos!  I was looking at the exif (via Jeffrey's Exif Viewer http://regex.info/exif.cgi) and noticed the GPS tag.  Which GPS tagging device do you use, and how do you like it?  I'm curious because I am thinking of getting one for my camera.

Thanks, Miles. We had a great time.

I don't have a dedicated GPS unit for my camera. For this trip I used my Earthmate GPS unit to create tracks and then imported those tracks into Apple's Aperture 3 which then matches the photo to the coordinates based on the time the photo was taken. Some of the photos I geotagged manually in Aperture.
