Great report and photos and your adventures remind me of me & my Dad when I was LGK's age. Good stuff.  :icon_cool:

We wanted to warn you about all the grass burrs in Fisk canyon ...

The single worst part of the week. And by "single" I mean THOUSANDS. Didn't help that I took a face-plant into a whole bushel of them -- another high moment not captured on camera, thankfully.

Yeah, I hear ya, but I simply couldn't do it to the old man.  Besides, I had those damn burrs stuck all over me as well and was too busy trying to get them off when the face planting occurred.  Actually, the cover shot would have been JB stuck in the quick sand.  That was a sight to behold...he-he...but I dropped the ball there too.   :eusa_doh:

I have found the best way to get the burrs off is to use a common hair comb to get underneath them and comb them out.   This only works when they are fresh and haven't been ground-in or balled-up.   Gaitors help a lot to keep them out of your boot laces and socks. TWWG
